Amherst, NY (January 2015) – Leading third-party logistics provider Fetch Logistics, Inc. has been recognized for ranking in the top tier of Carbon Efficiency in its SmartWay Partner Category for 2013 for both its Refrigerated and Rail/Intermodal divisions.
Awarded annually, SmartWay ranks carriers and logistics companies based on six performance metrics. By scoring in the top tier, Fetch Logistics, Inc. is in the top 20% of all freight companies in each category.
Fetch’s ongoing dedication and effort to improve carbon efficiencies is led by their Vice-President of Corporate Development, Gary Zoldos. “We are pleased to receive this recognition from the EPA” said Mr. Zoldos. “We are strongly committed to being corporately, socially and environmentally responsible and are constantly evaluating ways where we can create a positive impact.”
SmartWay was launched by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2004 and is dedicated to helping reduce transportation-related emissions. Partners must apply to join SmartWay and must re-submit emissions data annually for review.
