Job Description:

Top level Sales Executive experienced selling freight brokerage services to large corporate accounts.  This is a salary plus uncapped commission position with total compensation potential of 150-200k+ annually.  This position reports to the Vice President – Sales and will be based out of a home office or a company office depending on location.  This is not an Agent position.  A successful track record of selling truckload freight brokerage services on a corporate level is required to be considered for this opportunity.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Generate New Business through Prospecting and Cold Calling Corporate Accounts

·         Develop and Maintain Accounts through Relationship Selling

·         Negotiate Pricing and Contracts with Customers

·         Make Persuasive Presentations

·         Manage Multiple Projects

·         Commitment to Customer Service with a sense of urgency

·         Account Management

 

Job Requirements:

 

·         Previous Sales Experience selling Freight Brokerage Services on a corporate level REQUIRED.  No exceptions!!

·         Track record of success in securing corporate accounts

·         Highly Motivated and Competitive Drive

·         Knowledge base of shippers and corporate contacts

·         Work Independently with a Strong Work Ethic

·         Excellent Negotiation Skills

·         Work within a Team Environment

·         Excellent Phone Communication and Presentation Skills

·         Ability to travel frequently throughout the U.S.

·         Experience in Transportation Brokerage Sales an absolute must

·         Potential to work out of a home office or a company office depending on location

·         Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
